Sanctuary Vets was established in 2012, from a merger of High Grove and Victoria House Vets. Our friendly and dedicated staff will guide you in providing the best possible preventative care for your pet, and, in the event that they are unwell or injured, will provide a personalised treatment plan to focus on getting them back to full health as soon as possible.
Sanctuary Vets has an enthusiastic and compassionate team of receptionists and nurses, committed to supporting you, our client, and your beloved pet. We pride ourselves on having friendly and knowledgeable staff who you can approach at any time – we love to hear from our clients and are on hand to help you no matter how trivial you may feel your question is. We want you to have all the support you need from us to care for your pet.
We offer a range of clinics run by our nurses on topics including nutrition and weight advice, parasite control, dental care and caring for your senior pet. We also run very popular puppy socialisation classes here in Farlington, Portsmouth to help you train your new canine friend and give you the opportunity to meet new puppy owners in your local area.
We have a purpose-built practice in Farlington, Hampshire which enables us to provide a broad range of services for your pet including a comprehensive in-house laboratory that can provide same-day results allowing treatments to start quickly when your pet needs them the most.
Here at Sanctuary Vets in Portsmouth, we understand that pets are truly part of the family. That is why every pet is treated as an individual and we tailor our care based on your pets’ needs.
Our veterinary surgeons are committed to completing extensive research on your pet’s particular case, to ensure they receive the best possible care. By undertaking this research, we ensure every aspect of treatment has been explored – to be certain your pet receives the treatment that best meets their needs.
We feel this level of dedication and service sets us apart from other veterinary practices, as we believe there is no ‘one size fits all approach’ to veterinary care. Every animal is unique, so their treatment plan and care should be unique too!
In addition to this bespoke approach to providing veterinary care in Hampshire, we also liaise with local referral centres. With cases that need referrals for direct treatment, we work with these local centres as we know their teams will provide the level of care we pride ourselves on.
Sanctuary Vets is committed to placing pets and their owners at the centre of our philosophy of care, and celebrating the special bond we have with them, through compassion and excellence in all that we do.
